I have been sitting at the computer all day. It is going to be one of those weeks that I need to strap it to my chest and carry it with me wherever I go. Work deadlines. Paper for class. Wish I had started sooner. Blah blah. When my neck was screaming from too much computer tonight, I took a break and painted.

I had fun painting these flip flops. Painted tin is not the easiest surface for painting, but I hope if the colors are bright enough and there are enough flip flops, it will work.
Enough goofing off, I am back to researching my leadership communication assessment of Susan B. Anthony. Interesting woman. I have blogged about the suffragettes before. Tough chicks. Makes me wonder if there is anything I would sacrifice and fight for so long and so hard. We owe those women.

this made me laugh.
wow - for a study break you create something fun and pretty.
this would be a good blog topic. with that, i will start it.
sometimes Normal Girl creates something stupid and ugly....creativity does not have a recipe. She just never shows you the stupid and ugly projects.
I've done so much online campaigning today, I feel like a suffragette!
See this book about Susan B. Anthony if you haven't already: http://www.amazon.com/Not-Ourselves-Alone-Elizabeth-Stanton/dp/037570969X/ref=pd_bbs_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1222904766&sr=8-4
Ken Burns is a good storyteller - but often left-leaning.
Normal Girl read that book today! There are amazing photos in it.
