Bagging the Nest

My darling woodchucks Chooey and Tooey began to prepare their burrow for winter today.

When I went to bed last night all of these returnables were in a big black trash bag next to the garage. When I got up this morning, here they are.  What bag you ask?  Exactly.  They emptied all of the cans and bottles out of the bag and took the bag.  It is nowhere to be found. Did they need something waterproof?    Will I find it in the trash can tomorrow full of the stuff they have stolen from me that they no longer want?

Rotten woodchucks!

apparently we have a little furry friend in our back yard now. he/she arrived while i was in the hospital. the girls get very excited when they see it and refer to it as "the bunny", even though dear husband has confirmed it ain't no rabbit! he's not sure what it is tho, but it very certain he wants to get rid of it.

so two of my friends were once in a heated argument about woodchucks vs. groundhogs...arguing whether this animal in a commercial was either a woodchuck or a groundhog. it was entertaining. i still dont know the difference.

Woodchucks and groundhogs are the same animal.

it was funny nonetheless to hear them argue about it because one was serious and the other just arguing because he knew he could start an argument :)

Better nail down the rest of the stuff in your yard or they will beautify their home with it as well! Creative lil critters! That is why they set up housekeeping at the home of an artist! JOY!
