It is very close to Christmas and people are starting to gather as families to begin the celebration. I am picturing all of you at home, decorating cookies, wrapping presents, putting the finishing touches on the tree, singing carols around the piano. Making sweet Christmas memories. Niece 1 and niece 3 are here with me. But the cookie decorating and the carols around the piano? Not so much. This is what is going on at my house tonight.

funny. let's see, what is going on at our house? oldest daughter is obsessing over her lost cell phone... oldest son is complaining about all the necessary snow removal... youngest son is sick... ShortOnes are whiney and exhausted after going to bed at 11 last night... i pulled a muscle in my back yesterday and am hobbling around the house in slow motion... husband is also in slow motion but for no good reason and i am trying to be loving and tolerant of this ;o)
