At the Tone, the Time Will Be....

I have a clock that shines the time and temperature on the ceiling. My parents gave it to me for Christmas a couple years ago, and I grumbled, thinking it was for old people. But, I set it up and I shine the time and temperature over my bed. And I have to admit, I LOVE IT. I love knowing what time it is when I wake up in the night. And, I do not know why, but I also like to know what the temperature is outside. I think that is genetic, I can't help it.

So, the batteries all quit this week...on the clock and on the remote thingy that sits in the window to determine the OAT (outside air temperature). It was stressful resetting the thing, it is very complicated. But, alas, it is working and I can sleep again.

If you need a gift for anyone, including yourself, I recommend one of these. It resets itself at spring ahead and fall back. It also stays on when the electricity goes off. It rocks.

It has crossed my mind to write to the company with suggestions for a few improvements on new models. I would like it to tell me when my brother in law pulls in the driveway, and when the mailman has delivered the mail. Oh, and maybe when the raccoons are chewing through the roof.

Does that seem too complicated to add to my clock?
