Let's go back to this. Sunday morning. Everyone sees the graffiti for the first time. I did get a few nice comments. And one cranky one. I was told that Christians find the peace sign an insult. And that I put it right in God's name? I am in big trouble. Really? I don't get it. Do some folks deliberately miss the point? It is about peace. Anyone ever heard this and enlighten me on the principle of the peace sign being insulting?

the peace sign has always been controversial in baptist circles. i cannot give you a good explanation why.
peace is a fruit of the spirit.
when I was a kid someone told me it was an upside down broken cross, that was right around the time they told us to throw away our David Cassidy records..... my mother told me it was a dove's foot print. I am going with the dove's foot print.
What did David Cassidy ever do to them?
there are tons of verses in the bible about God and Him being our peace and bringing peace! for heaven's sake people need to lighten up!...it is so frustrating to hear the crud people complain about!
I didn't get to see the graffiti - but I heard it was awesome - no complaints here!
