Beaded Tank

This is what I did tonight while watching old sci fi shows. Just a little beading on a blank tank top. OH! I think I need to bead the straps too. Good idea.

Fit for a Princess

Psalm 45:13

I had fun the last two nights painting this chair. There is gold on the dress. And pink rhinestones on the front support bar. I believe all furniture should have rhinestones. Switching to boy chairs next, maybe sailboats.

Nice and cool down in Girl World, and I can't hear the raccoons,

Background Check

The two year old room is getting new carpeting tomorrow, so I finished painting the wall today. Jesus and the children got a clear blue sky with a few wispy clouds and a nice grassy lawn. I had some quality singing and dancing time alone in there while painting, and it does look better with a background....especially since the verse over it was crooked the first time it was painted. I think it looks better freehanded than it did when we used the overhead projector. Weird.

Looking forward to seeing the room with new carpet, better get there before the two year olds do.

My Landlord

I was minding my own business, writing my paper, and I looked down to see a raccoon baby sitting practically at my feet. He thinks he owns the place.

I stepped away from the table and he followed me. He hung out a really long time, and I was getting tired of it, so I threw a flower pot at him. He just stepped aside and looked at me. Eventually, he climbed off the deck and in 30 seconds, he was back with his sibling. Yep, two raccoons sitting with me on the deck.

It has been an eventful paper writing day, hasn't it?

The trap is getting set out there tonight.

I'm Singing

I found this while researching today.

I have no definite direction in my life. I was not singing last week, but this week, I am singing.

Let's Dance

While I am writing the semester's final paper, Net Theology: Worship, I leave you with this thought. I truly think that life has a running soundtrack and it should be choreographed. I could not stop smiling while watching this. Wouldn't we all be happier if our days went like this?

Word of the Day

Ludicrous, adj. So foolish, outrageous, or out of place as to be amusing.

Do you know that in Plymouth if there is a funeral, you can't get to the post office? Ludicrous.

I went to Jo-Ann's today and there were 16 people in line at the check out in front of me and no additional checkers were called. This happens a lot there, completely ludicrous.

When I got 4 inches of interfacing at the cutting counter, the woman asked me if I needed help to carry it to the front of the store. I asked her to call someone. How ludicrous! HAHAHA, that was pretty funny and it made me laugh. It cost me 28 cents........and 30 minutes in line.

I tried to buy two notebooks at Rite Aid today because they are advertised as buy one get one free. They made me pay 50% for the second one even though the sign said free. Beyond ludicrous.

I am procrastinating writing my final paper of the semester with everything I have within me. I am very close to cleaning or exercising. HOW LUDICROUS IS THAT???

Hoping your day is ludicrous,
