The Royal Scribe

Some years ago, I was appointed the royal scribe. Duties are light, so tonight I sat to write a royal story. This is the first page. The Queen is wearing a bathing cap that has a tiara on it.

I received this check today, it is a royalty check for a book I co-wrote with the HumanPinball and Barbara the Magnificent. I know what you are thinking. "That is not very much money to receive each month for royalties on a book!" Well, you would be right, except that is not a monthly check, it is annual!!

Writing a book is not looking all that glamorous now is it? Good thing writing a book is a very creative experience. And, it is fun to see my name as author whenever I write one. And, it is a real blast to google myself and see my books come up.

And, I only wish I would starve a little more,
